...Ariel Blair has a genuion love of people and life that can be seen throughout her fine portraiture. Brides, children, and families throughout Southern California are unquiely and beautifiully depicted. Her portraits reflect more than the wedding or the moment. Her images allow us to see the love, the hope, the curiosity; and the emotions involved.

_.Ariel bought her first SLR, Nikon F10 and enrolled in a photography course at New York Institute of Photography. At night she read and studied her course work and during the day, she shot roll after roll while she cared for her first little one. Capturing her daughter on film, at every stage of development was her goal. Soon friends and family started to see the beautiful renditions of her daughter and began asking her to take portraits of their babies. This led to shooting portraits of all kinds: High School Senior's Grad Night, family portraits, intimate black and white pregnancy portraits, on-location newborns, and children's portraits.

After completing her units at NYIP, she continued to study techniques and style of accomplished photographers. She moved to the Bay Area and had her second child. After enjoying her new son and daughter for a year, she began looking for a place to learn about the nuances of wedding photography. She assisted other professional photographers soaking as much as she could about weddings, fine portraiture, and the medium format camera.

...As a member of Professional Photographers of America (PPA) and Professional Photographers of The Greater Bay Area (PPGBA). Ariel continues to grow as a master in the craft of photography. Ariel's portraits have proved to be more than just another picture. Her easy-going personality allows people to feel comfortable while she creates beautiful natural looking portraits. From the wonder in a baby's eyes to the first kiss of the bride and groom, Ariel is able to capture it in way like no other.
